Located in the city downtown, Bayside Marketplace Miami offers its visitors a unique opportunity to experience the real Miami through some specialty shops, international restaurants as well as a great number of events featuring exotic and quality music. The complex opened its doors in 1987 and apart from being an attraction for residents and tourists alike, it has frequently been featured on the Miami Vice TV Series.
Bayside Marketplace Miami is a home to more than 125 different stores featuring latest fashion, electronic gadgets, health & beauty products and much more. Some of the brands visitors can enjoy Victoria’s Secret, Foot Locker, Disney Store, Guess, Perfumania, Skechers and Sunglass Hut.
Bars and restaurants
Apart from an admirable selection of shops, Bayside Marketplace Miami offers its visitors numerous bars and restaurants to take a break from shopping or enjoy a good meal after walking around wears them down.
When it comes to food, there is something to accommodate every taste, from the full-service restaurants like Hooters, Largo Seafood Grill, Hard Rock Cafe or Latin American Cafeteria to quick service restaurants like Hamburguesa, Subway or Tango Grill.
Bars serving snacks and drinks are also plentiful. Whether you prefer Starbucks, M & R Sweet Candy Store, Auntie Anne’s or Coco Gelato, Bayside Marketplace Miami has it all.
Over the years, Bayside Marketplace Miami has been a venue for numerous social events, concerts, and similar gatherings. This tradition continues to this day, with an always crowded schedule fit to accommodate a variety of personal and professional needs.
Some of the highlight events in 2017 include the Duran Duran concert on April 1, The Cure concert in June as well as The Goo Goo Dolls, Collective Soul & Tribe Society performance in September.
10th Annual Best of the Best Music Fest is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 29.
Directions and parking
If you are looking to get to Bayside Marketplace Miami from the airport, you should follow the signs to 836 East. From the 836 East, shift to 395 Est. Miami Beach. Make an exit on Biscayne Boulevard North-East 2nd Avenue and turn right to the North-East 2nd Avenue. Turn left on the North-East 5th Street and stay in the right lane until you cross Biscayne Boulevard. Following these directions, you should arrive straight to your destination. The entire trip from the airport to Bayside Marketplace Miami should take you about 12 minutes.
There is a paid parking available for all guests of the center. The first hour costs $3, while all additional hours are $2, with a maximum charge of $10 per day. If you get there before 10 am and leave before 6 pm, you can get a special “early bird” price of $4 total. During some special events, there is also an option of the valet parking.
