South Florida is filled with tropical fun and adventure, from a bustling nightlife to majestic nature, the entire family can enjoy. One of the greatest attractions is Miami Seaquarium, a 38-acre amusement park, and aquarium that’s fun for all ages. In Miami Seaquarium, customers can view live shows with dolphins, seals, and killer whales.
Miami Seaquarium also gives its visitors many opportunities to view a vast array of marine life: visitors can view endangered sea turtles and birds in their natural habit, as well as crocodiles, tropical fish, and stingrays. Kids can play in Salty’s Pirate Playground while adults might enjoy a meal from an all organic menu.
Miami Seaquarium is located in Biscayne Bay, close to the airport and the Port of Miami. If you are arriving from the north, take the 1-95 South to exit 1A. If you are coming from the south, take US1 North and exit before the I-95 on-ramp, following the signs to Key Biscayne. Miami Seaquarium is open 365 days every year, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Miami Seaquarium has some different tickets and programs. The basic day pass costs $44.99 for adults and $34.99 for children. If you would like to experience something a little more unique, like the Dolphin Encounter or Seal Swim, the cost of admission starts at $110. These special programs include a daily entry, plus the ability to interact with these special creatures and command them to do some tricks.
For those who want to spend the entire day side by side with a trainer, and to experience what it is like to train and care for these sea creatures, there is the Trainer for a Day pass that starts at $495 and participants must be at least 16 years of age. No matter whether you come to Miami Seaquarium to learn about its magnificent marine life, or just for a day out in the beautiful Miami sun, you’re sure to have a unique adventure you’ll remember for years to come.
